Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
My name is Christopher A. Hinton. I am the current President of the Alpha Alpha Rho Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. Founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington D.C., the fraternity has continued to strive for inclusive excellence and service for all people. Our founders had the vision to center this organization on the principles of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service, and have instilled in its members the goal to strive to create a culture for service, and ultimately serve humanity as a whole. I would like to formally extend the warmest welcome on behalf of the men of our illustrious organization. Hailing from Kernersville, North Carolina, I am a double major in Business Management and General Marketing. I am also involved in a variety of other capacities around campus, including the Student Government Association, the Black Student Association, and the Appalachian Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa. Over the next couple of years, it is my goal to grow the Alpha Alpha Rho chapter, and create sustainable relationships with other organizations around campus.
Being chartered in 1992, the chapter has made notable strides across campus, and has produced some of Appalachian’s best! Our Alumni have sat on the Board of Trustees, held the title of the Student Body President, played in professional level athletics, and served the world as Peace Corps volunteers. Alpha Alpha Rho continues to strive to mold and shape men that will honor this legacy.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this address, and I hope you continue to learn more about this great organization. Please feel free to review our national website, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The highest collegial regard,
Christopher A. Hinton
