Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
My name is Ruth Mazza. I am the current President of the Mu Omicron Chapter Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. We were founded on January 16, 1920 on the Campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. Our Founding Principles are Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Not only do we try to live up to these principles, we strive to be a ‘Community Conscious, Action Oriented Organization’. I extend my welcome, to you, on behalf of my Sorority.
A little bit about me: I was born and adopted in La Grange, Kentucky and currently live in Clemmons, North Carolina. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting Degree, with a minor in Spanish. Both of my Parents attended college and have conquered adversities, which is the reason that they are my main role models; I would also like to recognize any mentors and my Sorors who have helped support and nurture me through the years.
My goal as President is to strengthen and build up the women in my Sorority as well as welcome new Finer Women into our Sisterhood. I would like to see NPHC and PHC Sororities and Fraternities foster close-knit relationships through working together to improve the Appalachian State Community Campus and The Boone Community.
My vision as President is to grow the Chapter’s numbers as well as continuing to maintain a positively influential presence on Appalachian State University’s campus. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our Bio. I invite you to visit our National Page, the Mu Omicron Facebook Page, as well as following us on instagram @muomicron1920. Please feel freeto contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I would love to chat, grab a coffee, take a walk, get to knowyou and talk about anything that comes to mind!
